ANEQ 340 – Horse Training Lab I

Riding Evaluations

Riding evaluations will be held March 27th, 31st and April 3rd from 4-6 pm.  You must sign up for an evaluation date, there is a sign up sheet at the front desk of the main office at the Equine Teaching and Research Center.  There will be 18 spots available per evaluation session.  After the evaluations are complete those able to enroll in the class will be contacted via Email on Monday, April 6.  By that time overrides will be complete and students will be able to enroll in the class just like all the other classes.  There are 3 sections with 12 seats/section and enrollment will be on a first come first serve basis.

  • Section 1          MWF   8:00 – 9:40 am
  • Section 2          MWF   10:00 – 11:40 am
  • Section 3          MWF   2:00 – 3:40 pm

We will take the top 36 students in terms of skills and safety however, there may be a group that fit the criteria and could enroll if there were more openings and they will become alternates.  Therefore, if you receive an Email to register on April 6th you will have until May 14th to register.  After that time if you are not registered in a section your name and override will be removed and alternates will be allowed to register.

Attached is copy of the evaluation so you know what you will need to do.
