English Riding Club

The club is for any Colorado State University student in good standing who has an interest in horses and in riding English (hunters, jumpers, eventers and dressage riders).  The club meets approximately once per month for an organizational meeting.  Meetings are held on Monday evenings at 5pm in the Adams-Atkinson Classroom unless otherwise noted.  The club uses the B.W. Pickett Arena on Monday evenings.  To ride, you must provide your own horse.  Tiare Santistevan will coach on those evenings if needed.  One of the goals of the club is to bring in guest clinicians/instructors to teach once a month.  Depending on arena availability, the club may also bring in a clinician on a weekend.  If you do not have your own horse, you may still be a part of the club.  The club will participate in other activities such as community service activities, potlucks, jump painting get togethers, etc.  Auditing the lessons and the clinics is also educational for those that are not able to ride.

The officers for the club are:

President: Julie Shorter

VP: Lizzie Kanetsky

Treasurer: Anna Logan

Secretary: Christie Schulte

Historian/Web design: Cailin Caldwell
